More shopping...

Well a confession to be made, I have been shopping again, I could not ignore this gorgeous mermaid and underwater themed fabric from the Mendocino collection. I got it from a lovely lady on Etsy (her shop is Fabricworm), the service was amazing, I ordered from California on Friday and got it here in Australia on Tuesday.

Otherwise little sewing, I have cut out most of my Loxton Vines just have to find a fabric for the vines, who would think a plain red would be so difficult to find.

I love the postman!

Loxton Vines

Got 2 parcels today, HOORAY!!! The 1st for my first foray into quilt making. And then the 2nd when I went overboard with the cheapness of US fabrics versus Aussie fabrics.

Ok I've been tagged. Thanks PinkLizzy:)

The rules are:
1. Link to the person who tagged you. (Trying this for 1st time).
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write 6 random things about you.
4. Tag 6 people at the end of your post. (This could be tricky, I think all the blogs I go to have already been tagged, I will work on it).
5. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on there blog.
6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.

1. After having Rory my GP told me he had serious concerns that I was going to lose him, this really spun me out.

2. I have seen 3 of the worlds natural wonders, the Grand Canyon, Mount Everest and the Great Barrier Reef. Now for the 4 others.

3. When I was 16 I performed in the Torvill & Dean Ice Show as an aerial flier. Went up on wires and spun around heaps.

4. I've seen a yeti's scalp! It was in a little monastery that I saw while trekking in Nepal.

5. After finishing year 12 I had no idea what I was going to do and only went on to do a Science Degree after being talked into it by my sister. This led to 2 post graduate courses and a discovered passion for the environment.

6. I often remind myself not to stress, that though things sometimes seem bad, there are always others who have it worse.

Something done...ATLAST!!!

Finally somethings to add. Some felt chips, Callum was very keen to actually eat them :).

My Dodo is by Melly & Me and has been almost finished for ages, finally sewed on his eyes, wings and feet today.

My 1st American fabric buys, I got a bit excited by cheaper prices, next time I vow to be more organised and only buy things with an intended use.
